Meet Kenya's Famous Rescued Baby Elephants
The David Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage is one of Nairobi's most loved wildlife attractions, where orphaned baby elephants rescued from across Kenya are rehabilitated before returning to the wild. Visitors can watch the elephants being bottle-fed, playing in the mud, and interacting with their keepers during the daily public viewing session. The orphanage is operated by the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, which has rescued and raised hundreds of orphaned elephants and rhinos since 1977.
